Budding Artists

A couple of weeks ago it was such a beautiful day that the girls and I didn't go back into the house after taking the kids to the bus. I brought out fingerpaints for them and knitting for me and we enjoyed the warm sunshine.

Merlyn and Berkleigh spent over an hour busily painting. They started with the big rock, then the porch steps. Soon they moved on to their faces ("We look pretty like this," they kept telling other and me).

Here are their works of art:

Pretty faces...

The big rock step...

The garden rocks...

And, of course, their hands!
