Yesterday my Aunt Charlene and cousin Amber came to visit with Amber's boyfriend Chuck and their baby Corinne. Corinne is just over four months old now, but this was the first time we've seen her except in pictures. She was a really good baby, and such a cutie.
It's hard to believe Amber's a mom
(and Aunt Charlene's a grandma).
I made Corinne a sweater (my first knitted article of clothing) and it actually fits. It's especially cute when Corinne is modeling it.
Here's the little pumpkin:
Babies are kid magnets in my house. It's a wonder Corinne had room to move with all the attention at times. Berkleigh needed one last hug to say goodbye, and Myles is waiting for his turn.
It's easy to get pictures of kids when one can't go anywhere and the others want to hold her!

Bryan made us a delicious organic chicken dinner, and Aunt Charlene baked yummy pumpkin cookies. It was a nice afternoon spent with family who we don't get to see often enough. We were glad that they made the drive up to visit us.

What a beautiful little baby!
Carrie, nice job on the sweater. When do you start taking orders for adult sizes?!
By the way, that's a great picture of you with the baby. That red shirt looks great on you! ;)

We had a great time on Sunday. I enjoyed the kids and seeing each of their own personalities. They are great little people - I'm just sorry we don't get together as often as I'd like. Spending time with your cousins is one of the best memories of growing up! I'm sure Corinne will join in on the fun the next time she gets together with the kids. I don't think she will be one to just stand by and observe while all the others have all the fun! Thanks, Bryan for the delicious chicken dinner. Sorry we took you away from cutting wood on such a nice day. As always, Carrie, you are a great hostess and we had a fun time!
Love,
Aunt Charlene
